Airport Retail & Hospitality Management Overview
As a sales assistant, you will be responsible for dealing with customers, answering queries, selling goods, handling payments, and ensuring that products are attractively displayed.
In addition, you will assist passengers by answering questions, providing directions, or attending to their needs, including inquiries about delayed or lost baggage. You will also handle reservations for passengers calling in and assist with luggage check-ins at the ticket counter.
Hospitality management involves overseeing the administrative tasks of airport lounges, restaurants, or cafes. As a hospitality executive, your goal is to ensure that the facility is warm, welcoming, and makes guests feel at home.
There are many benefits to working in the hospitality industry, which spans restaurants, hotels, travel, airlines, cruises, and related sectors. The perks of the job are often more appealing than in other careers, which is why many people choose hospitality as a profession.
Upon successful completion of the training, an examination will be conducted, and a certificate will be issued. Students will also receive mentorship and have interactions with experts in the aviation industry for career guidance.
